The University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's squash team is set to defend their title at the 2015 OUA championships, January 30-February 1, at Northfield Racquet and Fitness Club in Waterloo, Ont.
The Blues won their ninth OUA title in program history last season, and first since 2005. OUA all-stars Evelyn Moorhouse and Natalia Londono return to the lead the Blues in the No. 1 and 2 positions. Londono also earned OUA rookie of the year status last year.
Kathryn Milligan, Jen Klein, Pooja Chuch, Alexis Twiddy and Shahnaz Modi are also set to represent the Blue and White this weekend.
Toronto's men last took the banner in 1982-83, but look to make an impact at the OUA championship, after some great Jester's League results this season.
The Blues placed fifth at last year's championship and welcome transfer Colin West as their No. 1 seed this weekend. Riyan Bhatia will play in the No. 2 spot, while Alex Garceau, Yusuf Shalaby, Kevin Hu, Julian Snider and Hamza Vora will also look to make an impact this weekend.Â
