University of Toronto Varsity Blues men's soccer striker Kilian Elkinson has been named Pioneer Energy Ontario University Athletics (OUA) male athlete of the week for the period ending September 2, 2014.

The hometown kid from Toronto matched his entire offensive output from 2013 in the Varsity Blues opening weekend.

Elkinson scored the game winning goal in Toronto's 5-2 victory over Laurentian on Saturday, and came through in the clutch again on Sunday. With his team trailing the Nippissing Lakers 1-0, Elkinson buried a free kick into the top corner of the net, helping secure a 1-1 draw for his team. In addition to the goals, Elkinson factored in on several other plays, adding an assist and six shots on goal over the course of the weekend.
