Box Score The University of Toronto Varsity Blues men's soccer team defeated the UOIT Ridgebacks 2-0 on Wednesday, October 1 in Oshawa.
 
The win, Toronto's fifth straight, improves the Blues to 7-2-1 as they remain in second place in the OUA East division. UOIT drops to 1-6-4 and sits in eighth.
 
Fifth-year striker and OUA leading scorer Kilian Elkinson led the Blues with both goals in the win. A Toronto native, Elkinson notched the game-winner in the sixth minute of the contest, and added the insurance marker in the 53rd minute.
 
Elkinson now leads the OUA with 11 goals in 10 games.
 
The Varsity Blues return to action this Saturday, October 4 as they host the Carleton Ravens at Varsity Centre. Game time is set for 3:15 p.m.
