BLUES BLANKED BY RAMS

The University of Toronto Varsity Blues men's soccer team fell 3-0 to the No. 5 Ryerson Rams on Sunday, September 27 at Monarch Park Stadium.

With the loss, the Blues drop to 1-4-2, while the Rams improve to 7-0-1 and sit atop the OUA East standings.

Toronto outshot the Rams 7-4 in the first half, but Ryerson opened the scoring in the 45th minute with a goal from Viktor Anastasov. It was all Ryerson from there as they added goals in the 58th and 72nd minutes to earn the shut out win.

Blues goalkeeper Rab Bruce-Lockhart returned from injury and made four saves in his first game of the season.

The Varsity Blues return to action this Wednesday, October 2 as they host the Trent Excalibur at Varsity Centre. Game time is set for 8:15 p.m.
