The Varsity Blues men's soccer team tied the Trent Excalibur 1-1 on Wednesday, September 25 in Peterborough, Ont.
With the tie, the Blues are now 1-3-2 and in sixth place, while Trent remains in eighth with a 0-6-1 record.

Fourth-year striker Mario Kovacevic (Woodbrige) opened the scoring in the 31st minute, only to have Trent's Chris Bascelli respond in the 42nd minute.

The Blues outshot Trent 8-7 in the second half, with neither team able to find the back of the net again.
 
The Varsity Blues return to the field this Sunday, September 29 as they travel to take on the Ryerson Rams. Game time is set for 2:15 p.m.
