The University of Toronto Varsity Blues men's soccer team will take on the No. 2 Ryerson Rams in OUA quarter-final action on Sunday, October 27 at Birchmount Stadium.
The game will be streamed live via varsityblues.ca, and is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m.
The OUA East fifth-seeded Blues advanced to the quarter-final match with a 2-1 victory over Laurentian on Wednesday afternoon in Sudbury.
U of T fell 3-0 to the Rams in both of their regular season meetings in 2013. Toronto holds a 36-7-6 head-to-head record over Ryerson and U of T came out with a 2-1 penalty kick win in their lone playoff meeting in the 2011 OUA quarter-final round.
The Rams finished the season atop the OUA East standings with a 12-0-2 record, with fifth-year midfielder Alexander Braletic leading the league in scoring with 13 goals.
Toronto will look to veteran striker and leading scorer Mario Kovacevic to ignite the offensive attack.Â
