Box Score Fifth-year guard Sherri Pierce recorded a career-high 27 points in a 74-58 losing effort to the No. 6 Ottawa Gee-Gees on Saturday, February 18 in Ottawa.
With the loss, the Blues finish the regular season with a 14-8 record in third place in the OUA East.

A native of Brampton, Ont., Pierce was 3-for-4 from beyond the arc and added four rebounds on the night. Both Jill Stratton and Joanna Medri added six points in the loss.
Ottawa jumped out to an early 12-3 lead but the Blues slowly climbed their way back into it, led by an eight-point first-quarter by Pierce. The Gee-Gees held U of T to single digits in the second (15-9) to take a 41-23 lead into halftime.
The Blues rallied midway through the third and brought the game within 10; however, the Gee-Gees got back on track and held a comfortable lead for the remainder of the game.
Hannah Sunley-Paisley led the Gee-Gees with a double-double of 23 points and 11 boards, while Bess Lennox and Jenna Gilbert added 11 and 14 points, respectively, in the win.
