BLUES FALL TO MARAUDERS

Karla Telidetzki scored the lone try as the Varsity Blues women&rsquo;s rugby team fell 69-7 to the McMaster Marauders on Saturday, September 24 at the University of Toronto Scarborough Campus.<br /> <br /> With the loss, the Blues are now 1-2 and sit in fourth place in the Russell division. McMaster improves to a perfect 3-0 and remains in first place.<br /> <br /> Telidetzki&rsquo;s try, her seventh of the season, came in the first half and Emily McNally made the convert to round out Toronto&rsquo;s scoring for the day.<br /> <br /> Cindy Nelles led the Marauders with three tries and seven converts for 29 points on the day.&nbsp; Natasha Turner and Alexandra Fairgrieve added three tries apiece, while Hannah Braithwaite had two tries in the win.<br /> <br /> The Varsity Blues are off to Waterloo next Saturday, October 1 to take on the Warriors.&nbsp; Game time is set for 1 p.m.<br /> <br /> For more information, scores and highlights on your favourite U of T athletes and teams, please visit <a href="http://www.varsityblues.ca/"><font color="#c70d23">www.varsityblues.ca</font></a>.
