A last-second try would be the difference as the Varsity Blues women’s rugby team fell 24-20 to the Trent Excalibur on Saturday, September 17 at the University of Toronto Scarborough.

Trent’s Kaitlin Newton scored in the dying seconds to push the visiting team past the Blues.

The Varsity Blues return to the field next Saturday, September 24 when they host the McMaster Marauders at Scarborough Campus.  Game time is set for 1 p.m.
