The Varsity Blues field hockey team defeated the York Lions 6-0 on Saturday morning at Downsview Park.

With the win, the Blues are now a perfect 10-0 and remain in first place in the OUA.

Second-year forward Alexandra Evanyshyn of Burlington, Ont., had two goals on the day.  Kelley Lusk, Kaelan Watson, Lauren Mansfield and Amanda Woodcroft all added single tallies in the win.

The Varsity Blues return to action tomorrow as they take on the Western Mustangs at Downsview Park.  Game time is set for 11:15 a.m.
