Darragh McGee scored the lone goal as the No. 2 Varsity Blues men’s soccer team defeated the RMC Paladins 1-0 on Saturday, September 18 at Navy Bay Field in Kingston, Ont.
With the win, Toronto remains undefeated with a 4-0-1 record and sit atop the OUA East division.
McGee scored off a corner kick in the 29th minute of the match. The Donegal, Ireland native connected on a great shot from the top of the box for what would be the eventual game-winner.
Blues goalkeeper John Smits of Mississauga, Ont., made six saves in the shutout.
The Varsity Blues return to action tomorrow when they host the Ryerson Rams at Varsity Centre. Game time is scheduled for 3:15 p.m.
