The University of Toronto Varsity Blues women’s rugby team fell 43-5 to the McMaster Marauders in OUA quarter-final action on Saturday, October 17 in Hamilton, Ont.

Fourth-year veteran Hannah Ehrehardt (Toronto) scored the Blues lone try of the game.

First-year Marauders fly-half Rebecca Delaney (Caledon, Ont.) led all players with four tries, while fifth-year prop Sarah van Hoof (Lindsay, Ont.) had three. Nina Bui (Toronto) tallied two for McMaster, while Maggie Cogger-Orr (Thornhill, Ont.) had one in the win.

With the loss, the Blues 2009-10 season comes to an end. Toronto went 1-4 in OUA regular season play.

The Marauders will host the Western Mustangs in OUA semi-final action next Saturday, October 24.
