The University of Toronto Varsity Blues women’s rugby team fell to the Guelph Gryphons 48-0 on Saturday, September 27 at the University of Toronto’s back campus field.

The Blues put up a valiant effort, however the first-place Gryphons displayed why they lead the OUA with a perfect 4-0-0 record. Mimi Rahneva led Guelph with three tries in the victory.

The Varsity Blues travel to Peterborough for their final game of the 2008 OUA regular season. They will take on the Trent Excalibur on Friday, October 3 at 7 p.m.
