The University of Toronto women’s rugby team fell 17-0 to the second-place Trent Excalibur on Friday, October 3.

Despite the Blues best efforts, the Excalibur played a solid game, scoring two tries at the end of the first half to gain a 12-0.

Trent scored their third try in the second half and their relentless defensive play prevented any attempts from Toronto to score.

With a fourth-place finish in the OUA East division, the Varsity Blues open up the post season as they travel to Guelph next Friday, October 10. They take on the league-leading Gryphons in a quarter-final matchup.
