Two-time CIS all-Canadian Kaelan Watson scored four goals as the Varsity Blues field hockey team went 3-0 to open their 2010 campaign in London this weekend.

A third-year physical education and health student, Watson led U of T’s defensive corps in a 2-1 victory over the 2009 bronze medalist Western Mustangs and a 3-0 shut out victory over the York Lions on Saturday.

The Richmond, B.C., native then opened the flood gates, scoring four goals as U of T defeated the Queen’s Gaels 6-0 on Sunday.

Watson is tied for second in the OUA scoring race after the first weekend of play.
