A fifth-year forward from Ilderton, Ont., Taylor Day notched three goals and two assists in leading the Varsity Blues to two road wins this past week in OUA women’s hockey action.

The kinesiology major scored one goal, the game-winner, and added two assists in Toronto’s 3-2 victory at Windsor on Wednesday.

A 2015-16 OUA all-star, Day followed that up with a two-goal performance, again netting the game-winner, as the Blues topped Western 3-2 on Sunday afternoon.

Day is two regular season goals away from becoming the 10th University of Toronto Varsity Blue to notch 50 career goals in program history. She currently ranks fifth in the OUA with 16 points, holding at least two games in hand over the four players ahead of her.
