BYRON ELLIOTT – MEN’S HOCKEY

Varsity Blues men’s hockey player Byron Elliott tallied three goals and two assists to lead his team to two crucial victories over division foes, the Ryerson Rams and RMC Paladins, January 21-22.

The geography major from Burlington, Ont. leads the Blues and is now fourth in OUA scoring with 36 points (18 goals, 18 assists) in 22 games.

A second-year forward, Elliott notched the game-winning shootout goal against the Rams on Thursday night – to go with his second period marker - before tallying the game-winning goal versus the Paladins on Friday – one of two on the night.

Toronto has won seven straight OUA regular-season match-ups and is tied with Carleton for third place in the OUA East division, behind No.5 McGill and No. 6 UQTR.
