Fifth-year right side hitter Mitchell Woodside tallied 17 kills and 19 digs as the Varsity Blues men’s volleyball team split a road trip in Kingston, Ont., this weekend.
The Clyde River, P.E.I., native led the Blues with 13.5 points in a narrow 3-2 loss to the OUA defending champion Queen’s Gaels on Sunday. Woodside tallied 12 kills, eight digs and three blocks.
A mechanical engineering major, Woodside also tallied five kills and 11 digs in a 3-0 shut out win over RMC on Saturday.
