Taking the mound for softball’s season opener, Humhej was nearly untouchable.
 
Battling the Queen’s Gaels, the Surrey, B.C., product and physical therapy student spun a gem, throwing a complete game shut-out allowing just two hits and one walk. Meanwhile, at the plate, Humhej finished the game one for two with a double, a RBI and two walks.
 
The Blues will continue their schedule on September 17 when they travel to London, Ont., for a double header against the Western Mustangs.
