Fourth-year pitcher Dean Christidis helped lead the Varsity Blues baseball team to their first OUA title since 2017 this past weekend in Ajax.
 
The mental health studies major at University of Toronto Scarborough pitched 6.2 innings in relief, striking out 11 and allowing no runs as the Blues defeated the Western Mustangs, 8-4, in semi-final action on Sunday afternoon.
 
That help set up a 6-2 OUA-final victory over the McMaster Marauders, en route to U of T’s fifth OUA title in program history.
