Third-year veteran Andrei Velasevic was named the most valuable goalie and an all-star in leading the Varsity Blues men’s water polo team to their fourth consecutive OUA championship title this past weekend in London, Ont.

The statistics major helped Toronto to a dominant 16-4 semifinal victory over the McMaster Marauders on Saturday. Velasevic then led the Blues to a 12-9 championship final win over the Carleton Ravens on Sunday afternoon.

The Toronto native made numerous saves in the gold-medal match victory, including three 1-on-1 stops at crucial parts of the game.
