Backstopping the Blues men’s hockey team, Bishop stood on his head during their two games this past week. Despite finishing the week with a 1-1 record, Bishop still put forth a five-star worthy effort in both contests.
The commerce major from Richmond Hill, Ont., started his week by making 42 saves on 44 shots in a 3-1 loss at the Rams. Making sure the Blues got back in the win column afterwards, the 6’4 netminder then made 37 stops of 39 York Lion’s shots helping Toronto defeat their rivals 5-2.
Holding a .925 save percentage in his five starts, Bishop currently ranks seventh in the country among goalies with four or more games played.
