Helping guide the Blues to a fifth straight perfect season and fifth straight OUA championship, Marunica fired home five goals in Toronto’s 13-8 victory over the Carleton Ravens on December 4.

The arts and science major from Regina, Sask., certainly made his presence felt during the OUA final, especially in the most crucial of moments. With the game still hanging in the balance late in the third period, and the Blues only leading by three, Marunica fired a buzzer-beating shot from his own half of the pool, which found the back of the Carleton net. The goal served as a big momentum boost for the Blues heading to the final frame.

After Toronto locked down the Ravens in the fourth period, Marunica and his teammates were then able to celebrate a new program record fifth straight conference title.
