The two-time OUA all-star amassed 43 points and a .338 hitting percentage as the Varsity Blues placed sixth at the 2019 U SPORTS women’s volleyball championship in Edmonton this past weekend.

The second-year middle from Richmond Hill, Ont., opened the tournament with 16.5 points in a narrow 3-1 quarter-final loss to the host Alberta Pandas. Woock followed that up with 13.5 points in Toronto’s 3-1 consolation semifinal victory over the Calgary Dinos.

A molecular genetics and microbiology major, Woock ended the championship with 13 points as the Blues fell 3-2 to the Trinity Western Spartans in the consolation final.
