Rookie goalie Erica Fryer amassed 35 saves in leading the Varsity Blues women’s hockey team to a six-point weekend on the road.
The Amherstburg, Ont., native made 21 saves and earned her second shut out victory of the season as the Blues topped the Windsor Lancers 3-0 on Saturday afternoon.
A first-year kinesiology major, Fryer went onto make 14 saves, while adding two in the shootout, to lead U of T to a 3-2 victory over the OUA defending champion and No. 9 nationally ranked Western Mustangs on Sunday in London, Ont.
