A first-year forward from Victoria, B.C., Hunter Atchison scored two goals in leading the Varsity Blues men’s hockey team to a 5-3 victory over the OUA defending champion York Lions on Sunday afternoon.
 
The social science major scored the third goal of the game with 2:02 remaining in the second period as he received a nice pass from Curtis Harvey and made no mistake in finding the back of the net.
 
Atchison added some insurance, scoring an empty-net goal with one second remaining to round out the victory. The rookie now leads Toronto with seven goals this season.
