Andrea Burley won the gold medal in the women’s expert division as the Varsity Blues mountain biking team opened their 2017 season at Albion Hills this past Sunday.

Burley, , a physiotherapy major from Uxbridge, Ont., crossed the finish line in 1:01.15, a full two minutes ahead of McMaster’s Erica Leonard to claim gold.
