A second-year international relations and economics major, Daniel Ugray scored seven goals to lead the University of Toronto Varsity Blues men’s water polo team to the 2016 OUA championship title this past weekend in Kingston, Ont.

A native of Budapest, Ugray paced the Blues with four goals in a dominant 7-0 victory over the Carleton Ravens in the gold-medal match to claim Toronto’s second provincial title in the past three years.

Ugray also co-led the Blues with three goals in a lopsided 18-0 semifinal victory over the host Queen’s Gaels on Saturday.
