Rookie midfielder Ezequiel Lubocki scored his first two CIS goals to help lead the No. 7 Varsity Blues men’s soccer team to two big wins at home this weekend.

The native of Winnipeg scored his first career goal in a 3-1 victory over the Laurentian Voyageurs on Friday afternoon at Varsity Centre. 

Lubocki continued his offensive prowess on Saturday, scoring an insurance marker in a 6-0 win over the Nipissing Lakers.  The first-year international relations major sent a booming shot that Nipissing goalkeeper Andrew Richard could not get his handle to give Toronto a 2-0 lead at the half.
