Fifth-year striker Nordo Gooden tallied both game-winning-goals as the No. 4 Varsity Blues men’s soccer team remained undefeated with two big wins at home this weekend.

 

The 2009 OUA leading scorer and all-star scored Toronto’s lone goal in a 1-0 victory over the Queen’s Gaels when he shot the ball over a sprawling Maxfield Materne in the dying seconds of the first half on Saturday.

 

Gooden followed that up with an extraordinary offensive effort versus the RMC Paladins on Sunday. The Kingston, Jamaica native scored on his first-of-seven shots on goal in the fourth minute of the game to lead the Blues to a 5-0 victory.
