Taylor Day, a fifth-year forward from Ilderton, Ont., scored two goals and added three assists in leading the Varsity Blues women’s hockey team to a big 6-1 victory over the Laurier Golden Hawks on Friday night.

Day had a hand in the first five goals of the game, four of which came on the powerplay and one shorthanded, in Toronto’s fifth win of 2016-17.
