Fourth-year defender David Colelli scored one goal and helped the Varsity Blues to two shut out season-opening victories this past weekend in OUA men’s soccer action.
 
Colelli scored the game-winning goal in Toronto’s 3-0 victory over Laurentian on Sunday. The biochemistry major sent a booming shot off a corner kick into the bottom left corner of the net.
 
A native of Vaughan, Ont., Colelli helped the Blues limit Laurentian to only two shots on goal on Sunday, and five shots on goal in Saturday’s 5-0 victory over the Nipissing Lakers.
