Varsity Blues quarterback Andrew Gillis was 13-of-26 for 155 yards passing as Toronto held the University of Guelph within their grasps for the first three quarters of Friday night’s football game (Sept. 18) at Varsity Centre.
 
Gillis, who was named the Varsity Blues player of the game, led Toronto down the field to their first three touchdowns of the season. The Markham, Ont. native also ran 11 times for 93 yards, including a 25-yard rush to set up the Blues second touchdown.
