Fourth-year veteran Sasha Gollish won three individual titles and was a member of a Canadian record-breaking relay team in leading the University of Toronto Varsity Blues to their first OUA women’s track and field title since 2004 this past weekend at York.

Gollish, along with teammates Gabriela Stafford, Rachel Jewett and Honor Walmsley, set a new York field house, U of T, OUA and Canadian record in the 4x800 relay, clocking a time of 8:37.18.

The Toronto native also set a new OUA record in the 600m, breaking Giselle Plantz 1982 record of 1:30.56 in a time of 1:30.41.

Gollish, a civil engineering PhD candidate at U of T, also earned the gold medals in the 1500m (4:22.15) and 3000m (9:21.58) races.
