Fourth-year forward Jeff Brown notched one goal and four assists in helping the University of Toronto Varsity Blues to a 1-1 record in OUA men’s hockey action this past weekend (Jan. 16-17).

Brown, who had a hand in 50% of U of T’s offence this weekend, tallied one goal and three assists as the Blues defeated their cross-town rivals the Ryerson Rams, 7-4, on Friday night.

The Toronto native and media studies major also added one assist as the Blues dropped a narrow 4-3 decision to the No. 10 Western Mustangs on Saturday night at home.

Brown now leads the Blues with nine goals and 14 assists for 23 points in 20 games this season. He is also riding a seven-game point streak, having tallied five goals and seven assists since Toronto’s 4-3 win over Guelph on Nov. 28.
