Second-year standout Emily Bidinosti won the Roy Gunnell Trophy as the championship MVP in leading the Toronto Varsity Blues to their second straight OUA banner this past weekend (Nov. 29-30) in Ottawa.

Bidinosti, who also earned OUA all-star honours for the second straight season, scored three goals in U of T’s 17-2 semi-final victory over the Queen’s Gaels on Saturday.

The Kitchener, Ont., native and second-year kinesiology major then tallied a team-high two goals in leading the Blues to a dominant 8-2 win over the Ottawa Gee-Gees in the gold-medal match. U of T completed their second consecutive perfect season, earning their sixth provincial title in history and fourth in the past seven years.
