First-year standout Gorast Tasevski led the team in scoring in helping the Toronto Varsity Blues capture a silver medal at the 2013 OUA men’s water polo championship this past weekend at Varsity Pool.

Tasevski opened the tournament with a bang, notching five goals in a dominant 22-1 victory over the Queen’s Gaels. The Skopje, Macedonia native added a single tally in Toronto’s 10-7 win over Ottawa to secure a spot in the gold-medal match. He also added one more marker, for a team-high seven, as the Blues narrowly fell 7-6 to the Carleton ravens.

Tasevski was named an OUA all-star for his stellar performance over the weekend.
