Second-year forward Andrew Doyle notched three goals in leading the Varsity Blues men’s hockey team to a four-point weekend (Nov. 15-16).
The Richmond Hill, Ont., native notched both of Toronto’s regulation goals in a big 3-2 overtime win over the Carleton Ravens on Friday night. Doyle opened the scoring just 32 seconds into the contest as he wired the puck into the top corner of the net.
He followed that up with a tally 12 seconds into the second period, taking a pass from linemate Tyler von Engelbrechten and firing it into the mesh.
A second-year kinesiology major, Doyle added his third goal of the weekend and seventh of the season in a 4-1 victory over the RMC Paladins.
