Third-year hurdler Hayley Warren continues to tear up the track this season and is named Varsity Blues MBNA female athlete of the week for the second time in three weeks.

The heralded hurdler competed in the McGill Invitational where not only she shattered the U of T record but the McGill meet record also as she cruised through the preliminary round with a time of 8.48 in the 60m hurdles.

A Faculty of Kinesiology and Physical Education student, Warren went on to win gold in a time of 8.53 and has secured her spot in the CIS national track and field championships, having met the qualifiying standard.

MBNA believes that with personal drive and the right kind of support, someone who thrives on the playground can one day ascend the podium.
