Third-year runner Tamara Jewett dominated all competition with a first-place finish at the 2011 Western Invitational on Saturday, September 24 at Thames Valley GC in London, Ont.

A native of Toronto, Jewett finished the 5km race in 17:35. The 2008 CIS rookie of the year was 27 seconds ahead of the second-place runner, Guelph’s Andrea Secaffien.
