Second-year striker Mario Kovacevic scored three goals in leading the No. 4 Varsity Blues men’s soccer team to two big wins over the Nipissing Lakers and Laurentian Voyageurs this weekend.

A native of Woodbridge, Ont., Kovacevic scored two goals in the first half as the Blues blanked the Lakers 4-0 on Saturday afternoon.

The fourth-year engineering major then added a single tally, the eventual game-winner, in a 4-1 win over the Voyageurs on Sunday.
