The University of Toronto Varsity Blues football team dropped a 44-3 decision to the Ottawa Gee-Gees on Saturday, September 5 at Gee-Gees Field.
With the loss, the Blues drop to 0-2 to start the season, while the Gee-Gees improve to 2-0.
TORONTO STATS: Third-year quarterback Kaleb O'Donoghue went 17-for-27 for 169 yards, while also rushing four times for 19 yards on the day.
Omar Martin led the Blues with 12 carries for 68 yards and also had two receptions for six yards. Denayden Lee-Daniel made four catches for 48 yards.
Defensively, fourth-year linebacker Elia Lini led all players with 9.5 tackles (7 solo, 5 ast). Jackson Pham had five tackles, while Kai Nagamatsu and Luca Pante each had 4.5 in the loss.
