The University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's tennis team earned victories over both the TMU Bold and Queen's Gaels this weekend at UTSC.

Toronto opened the weekend with a 5-1 win over the Bold on Saturday (Sept. 26). In a modified match, the Blues and Bold each won a doubles point splitting two doubles matches. However, from there U of T swept four singles contests to claim the overall victory. Varsity Blues veterans Noelle Vanasse Wilbert and Kaira Xuan paired together for an 8-0 doubles win, while also both winning singles games as well.

On Sunday (Sept. 27), Toronto then swept the visiting Queen's Gaels in a 7-0 decision. Serving in the Blues No. 1 singles and doubles position, two-time OUA MVP Anastasiya Dyadchenko and 2026 CUTC all-star Maria Popova helped U of T secure points in both categories. The duo knocked off the No. 1 Gaels doubles team 8-5. Dyadchenko then won in the No. 1 singles position 6-4, 6-4, while Popova won in the No. 3 position 6-2, 6-3.

The Blues will close out their regular season with two more home contests at UTSC. Toronto will first challenge the Waterloo Warriors on Saturday (Oct. 3) before finishing the schedule versus the McMaster Marauders on Sunday (Oct. 4).
