The University of Toronto Varsity Blues men's soccer team picked up a 3-0 away win, defeating the RMC Paladins 3-0 on Saturday (Sept. 26) afternoon in Kingston, Ont.
In a complete victory that saw the Blue and White hold the advantage in shots and corners Toronto controlled the pace of play over a 90-minute span. Capping off a strong first half was the games opening goal in the 37
th minute when fourth-year midfielder Quinton Chung set up fourth-year defender Toby Richardson for the Ottawa natives first goal of the season to send U of T to the locker room with a 1-0 lead.
In the 57
th minute, third-year forward Niklas Hallam continued his world class start to the 2026 campaign, scoring on a penalty for his nineth goal of the season in just seven matches. The Victoria native finished tied with first-year forward Christopher Sneddon-Simons with a game-high three shots on goal. In the 62
nd minute, Sneddon-Simons added an insurance marker for the Blues, marking his first goal in the OUA. From there, a stout defensive performance helped propel the Varsity Blues to their fourth win of the season, improving their record to 4-2-1.
At the other end of the pitch, second-year goalkeeper Liam Janicki-Zuballos was excellent between the pipes, making five saves and earning a clean sheet in his season debut.
U of T is back in action on Sunday (Sept. 27) afternoon when they take on the Carleton Ravens in the nation's capital. Kick-off is scheduled for 3:15 p.m., and the game will be streamed live on
