As announced on Wednesday (Mar. 18) night ahead of the start of the 2026 U SPORTS Women's Hockey National Championship, University of Toronto Varsity Blues forward Abby Whitworth has been announced as a U SPORTS second team All-Canadian.
The Commerce major from Port Moody, B.C., was one of the best offensive forces from across the country this season. Whitworth led the entire province and ranked third in all of U SPORTS with 20 goals.This included six power play markers and four game-winning goals, while she added nine assists to total 29 regular season points. She is the first Varsity Blue to lead the OUA in goals since 2007-08.
In three seasons wearing the Blue and White, Whitworth has tallied 45 career points in 66 regular season contests with 25 goals and 20 assists.
Whitworth becomes the first Varsity Blues women's hockey player to receive All-Canadian honours since 2022.
