The University of Toronto Varsity Blues Track and Field team took part in three meets between Friday, Feb. 13 and Saturday Feb. 14. U of T hosted the Hal Brown Last Chance Meet at the Bruce Kidd Field House, while other Blues travelled to Boston, Massachusetts., for the David Hemery Valentine Invitational and Guelph, Ont., for the Guelph Last Chance Meet.

The Blues were strong at their home track on Friday, claiming multiple top-three finishes and won multiple events.
In the men's 600m run, Christopher De Martin and Dallas St. John finished in first and second place out of 30 runners with times of 1:21.35 and 1:21.38 respectively. Multiple Blues added second-place finishes on the men's side. Another first-place finish was achieved by second-year computer science student Jeevesh Balendra in men's triple jump. First-year social sciences student Micah Clarke notched second prize in the men's 60m hurdle with a time of 8.92 seconds. Meanwhile, William Tapodi finished second in the men's 300m race with a time of 36.18 seconds.
Shifting over to the women's side, U of T won the 4x200m relay as the quartet of Aniya Asare-Clarke, Adele Church, Peyton Docherty and Allison MacDonald finished the race in 1:46.23. Toronto garnered another top prize in the women's high jump as first-year jumper Precious Drub reached heights of 1.61m.
David Hemery Valentine Results
In Boston, four women competed for Toronto. Competing in two events was fifth-year standout Julia Agostinelli. The London, Ont., native ran the women's 1500m in 4:20.15 and ran the one mile run in four 4:38. Meanwhile, Parker Hopkins placed sixth out of 50 athletes in the 1000m run with a time of 2:47.19. Madelyn Bullock finished 20
th in the same race with a time of 2:54.74. Adding to U of T's total was Sarah White, running the 3000m in 9:48.98.
On the men's side, Nick Trieu put up U of T's best finish finishing in 15
th place out of 71 runners in the men's 1000m run with a time of 2:26.63 while Shan Dhanoa added a time of 2:28.31 in the same race. Aaron Prekajski, Moses Aidoo and Jack O'Farrell also competed for the Blues and put-up impressive showings.
Guelph Last Chance Meet Results
In Guelph, Toronto's Paulina Procyk and Parker Long competed in events. Procyk notched a third-place finish in the women's 60m hurdles with a time of 8.72 seconds. Meanwhile, Long competed in the men's 60m hurdle and finished in nineth out of 12 racers with a time of 7.11 seconds.
U of T will now turn their focus to the 2026 OUA Championship at the Toronto Track & Field Centre on Feb. 20 – 21. Followed by the 2026 U SPORTS Track and Field Championship in Winnipeg, Man.
