The University of Toronto Varsity Blues men's water polo team defeated the Western Mustangs 12-10 in the 2025 NCWP Championship final on Sunday afternoon (Nov. 30) in Kingston, Ont.

With the win, the Blues claim their ninth consecutive provincial title, dating back to 2016.

Toronto was the No. 1 seed entering the championship and earned a spot in the final with a dominant 22-6 semifinal victory over the McMaster Marauders on Saturday afternoon.

"I'm incredibly proud to stand here with our ninth consecutive championship," said Varsity Blues head coach Emre Tali. "Repeating is never easy; every year the target on our back grows larger, and the hunger has to come from within. This season threw its share of challenges at us, but this group endured, sacrificed, and stayed locked in when it mattered the most. I couldn't be prouder of these guys."
