The University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's tennis team defeated the Queen's Gaels 6-1 to win their third consecutive provincial title as the 2025 OUA tennis championships wrapped up on Sunday evening (Oct. 12) at Mayfair East.
Fresh off a 7-0 quarter-final win over Ottawa on Friday and a 6-1 semifinal victory over the host York Lions on Saturday, the Blues showed no doubt who would take the top spot. It marks the fifth time in the past seven years that Toronto has won the OUA women's tennis title.
Anastasiya Dyadchenko was named the OUA player of the year for the second time in her career, while Katherine Zhang was named the OUA rookie of the year. Nabil Tadros also earned coach of the year honours as well.
