The University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's tennis team earned back-to-back victories as they opened their 2024 campaign versus McMaster and Western this weekend at the University of Toronto Scarborough Campus.
The Blues opened their weekend with a Saturday (Sept. 7) afternoon win over the visiting Marauders, edging out the visitors 4-3. Toronto swept all three doubles matches to earn the crucial game-winning point via the doubles wins. Meanwhile, Maria Popova, Noelle Vanasse Wilbert, and Linda Lee claimed the singles wins for U of T.
