The University of Toronto Varsity Blues football team fell 52-5 to the No. 5 Windsor Lancers on Saturday night (Sept. 28) at Alumni Stadium.

Second-year linebacker Elia Lini led the Blues defence with 6.5 tackles, include 2.5 tackles for loss. Luca Pante and Oskar Mcphie each racked up 5.5 tackles, while Tristan Braker had five on the night.

Blues quarterback Kaleb O'Donoghue went 9-for-19 for 76 yards. His favourite target was Thomas Roberts, who ended the game with five receptions for 40 yards.

Fourth-year running back Luka Stoikos rushed for 42 yards on seven carries, while also returning three kickoffs for 55 yards.

The Blues head into bye week and return to action on Friday, October 11 when they host the No. 4 Western Mustangs at Varsity Stadium. Kick off is set for 7 p.m. Â
